Drew Scoggins

Managing Partner & Chief Executive Officer

Drew is Managing Partner & Chief Executive Officer of Millennial Energy Partners. Under his leadership, the firm has invested more than $400 million in oil and gas upstream and midstream projects. Prior to Millennial, Drew led BG Group plc’s commercial and operations teams on upstream and liquefied natural gas initiatives in the United States, Canada, Chile, Equatorial Guinea and Trinidad and Tobago. Prior to joining BG, Drew was Strategic Planning Manager and Community and Public Relations Manager with Marathon Oil. Drew began his career in Bechtel Corporation’s oil and gas division as Project Controls Engineer residing in Equatorial Guinea, West Africa. Drew serves as a member of the York Tactical Energy Fund (“YTEF”) Investment Committee and the Board of Directors of Ultra Petroleum Corp (NYSE: UPL). Drew previously served as a member of the Board of Directors of Amplify Energy Corp (NYSE: AMPY) until its merger with Midstates Petroleum Company, Inc. in August 2019. Drew is a member of Vanderbilt University’s College of Arts & Sciences Campaign Cabinet and a member of the Georgetown University Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) Advisory Board. Drew received his B.S. in economics and history from Vanderbilt, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude. He earned his MSFS degree with a focus on business, finance and development from Georgetown.

William Goodwin

Partner & Chief Operating Officer

William is Partner & Chief Operating Officer at Millennial Energy Partners. His focus includes operations, deal origination, land and acquisitions & divestitures. William brings over a decade of experience in both onshore conventional and unconventional assets as well as offshore conventional assets. Prior to Millennial he was a geologist at Nexen Ltd (CNOOC Petroleum N.A ULC), Anglo-Dutch LLC, Cobalt International Energy and Houston Energy LLC. William serves on the York Tactical Energy Fund (“YTEF”) Investment Committee and has served as Board Advisor to Cantium LLC since its inception in 2017. William currently sits on the Petroleum Club of Houston’s Membership Committee and the Episcopal High School Alumni Directors Council. William earned a B.S. in Geology from Louisiana State University where he was a pitcher and letterman on the LSU baseball team.

David Loveday

Partner & Chief Technical Officer

David is Partner & Chief Technical Officer of Millennial Energy Partners, where he leads Millennial’s team of geologists and reservoir engineers. David joined Millennial Energy Partners after a decade of leading subsurface technical teams focused on finding and developing oil and gas in basins across the world. He began his career as a development geologist in the Gulf of Mexico with Chevron, based in Houston and New Orleans, before assuming other technical and leadership positions in Gulf of Mexico and West Africa exploration. Most recently, he led exploration efforts along the Brazilian Equatorial Margin region for Pacific Rubiales USA. David received his B.S. in Geology from the Ohio State University and his M.S. in Geophysics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.

Clay Brett

Partner & Chief Commercial Officer

Clay Brett is Partner & Chief Commercial Officer of Millennial Energy Partners. Clay leads investment origination, valuation, structuring and negotiation efforts in concert with Millennial’s technical leadership. In addition, Clay manages the firm’s midstream activities and hedge portfolio and serves as General Counsel. Prior to Millennial, Clay represented private equity investors, operating companies and financial institutions in energy transactions as a deal lawyer at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP and Bracewell & Giuliani LLP. Clay is a graduate of the University of Florida, with honors, and Vanderbilt Law School.

Brad Knotts

Vice President

Brad Knotts is Finance Associate for Millennial Energy Partners. He is responsible for evaluation, diligence, execution, and monitoring activities in support of the firm’s valuation, investment and asset management efforts. Before joining Millennial, Brad was an Associate at Edge Natural Resources, an energy private equity firm in Dallas. Prior to that, Brad worked as an investment banking Analyst at Barclays Capital and Wells Fargo Securities in Houston. Brad graduated with B.A. in Finance from Texas A&M University in 2013.

Brendan Whipple

Reservoir and Evaluations Manager

Brendan is Reservoir and Evaluations Manager of Millennial Energy Partners. Prior to joining Millennial Energy Partners, Brendan worked for eight years with Newfield Exploration in Houston where he served in various engineering roles in multiple basins around the U.S. He began his career as a Production Engineer working East Texas conventional assets, the Maverick Basin and the Williston Basin, building expertise in artificial lift design, major well interventions, and operations planning. He then expanded to a Reservoir Engineering role evaluating uphole potential and offset undeveloped prospects in South Texas conventional gas fields. He most recently served as a Senior Reservoir Engineer on the SCOOP asset team at Newfield, where he focused on well performance analysis and forecasting, capital and production budgeting, reserves reporting and coordination with other assets and auditors, and development planning in support of a multi-rig drilling program. He earned a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University and is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.

Meghan Whipple

Sr. Reservoir Engineer

Meghan is Senior Reservoir Engineer. Prior to joining Millennial Energy Partners, Meghan spent five years with Equinor (previously Statoil) in Austin and Houston, where she served in various engineering roles. She began as a Reservoir Engineer, working South Texas unconventional assets, building expertise in well performance analysis and forecasting. Meghan expanded to a Field Development role for Equinor’s South Texas asset, where she focused on short- and long-term development planning for multi-rig programs, production forecasting and reporting, capital budgeting, and coordination between all intercompany functions. Most recently, Meghan served as a Senior Reservoir Engineer on the Acquisition & Divestitures team at Equinor, evaluating opportunities of varying scale in multiple onshore basins across North America. Meghan earned a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University.

Kayli Maxwell

A&D & Land Manager

Kayli is the A&D & Land Manager at Millennial Energy Partners. Prior to Millennial, Kayli worked for Continental Resources as a landman focused on the SCOOP and STACK plays in the Anadarko Basin. Kayli began her career as a landman for Chesapeake Energy where she focused on unconventional assets in South Texas, West Virginia and Pennsylvania. Kayli received a B.A. in History from Davidson College, where she played NCAA Division I field hockey and earned a J.D. from the University of South Carolina.

Liza Denninger

Land and Business Analyst

Liza is Land and Business Analyst at Millennial. Prior to joining Millennial, Liza worked at Devon Energy Production Company in Oklahoma City. She began her career as a Landman working in the Barnett Shale, where she maintained over 330,000 net acres, and assisted in a successful re-frac program. She then moved to Devon’s STACK play, overseeing 29 townships and managing multiple non-operated assets. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Tulsa’s Energy Management Program.

Timothy Herrman

Controller

Tim is Controller at Millennial Energy Partners, where he is responsible for all accounting and treasury functions. Tim joined Millennial Energy Partners in June 2016 as the Company’s Controller. He brought with him over 30 years of oil and gas E&P experience with both operated and non-operated properties located in the U.S., Gulf of Mexico and abroad. Prior to joining the Company, Tim was Vice President and Controller for Black Falcon Energy, LLC, where he was responsible for establishing and overseeing the accounting functions for 8,200 non-operated oil and gas properties. He has served in similar capacities for other organizations, including Tradition Resources II, LLC, PetroSantander, Inc. and Centurion Exploration Company. Throughout his career, Tim has participated in the acquisition and divestiture of over 3,500 oil and gas properties. Tim received his accounting degree from The University of Texas at Dallas.

Tom Wells

Assistant Controller

Tom is Assistant Controller at Millennial Energy Partners. Prior to Millennial, he worked for Energy XXI and Endeavour International Corporation serving in various finance and accounting roles. During this time, he was responsible for accounting, budgeting, financial reporting and special projects. Tom began his career in public accounting with Grant Thornton focusing on the E&P oil and gas sector. Tom earned a B.S. in Finance from Louisiana State University.

Kelly Uehlinger

AP/JIB Accountant

Kelly is Millennial Energy Partners’ AP/JIB Accountant. Kelly has over 25 years of accounting experience with multiple oil and gas companies and Whitley Penn. Kelly studied Accounting at Sam Houston State University.

Rohan Krishna

Revenue Accountant

Rohan is Millennial Energy Partners’ Revenue Accountant. His experience includes 13 years of upstream and midstream oil and gas accounting with a focus on Revenue, Financial Accounting, Marketing Accounting and Regulatory Reporting. Rohan gained most of his experience working for Occidental, Kinder Morgan, Woodside Energy and Eni Petroleum. He holds B.S in Accounting from the University of Houston.
